Welcome to the Shenton House Facade Refresh information page. This is a dedicated page to keep you informed across all stages of the project, and we will be regularly updating this page as and when developments occur.

We endeavour to make this refresh as seamless as possible, and we have taken great care to ensure minimal disruption to our tenants and their visitors.

The Project


The project at Shenton House is a 9-month recladding project undertaken by Kilmore Group, a facade and cladding specialist.

We have committed to the cladding refresh project in an effort to truly invest in the future-proofing of Shenton House. Advancements in cladding technology have identified an opportunity for us to refresh our building’s exterior cladding, ensuring that Shenton House stays ahead of the curve in compliance and best practices.

The project will span 38 weeks, from July 2022 to May 2023, and will comprise three phases of work. During this time, you will see different areas of the building covered by scaffolding and construction work, bringing some level of noise to the area. While every attempt has been made to minimise disruption to tenant operations, there will nevertheless be some changes to our tenants’ and tenant visitors’ experiences throughout the project lifecycle.

The project will comprise three stages of work, with Stages 2 and 3 overlapping slightly.

  • Stage 1: North and East-Facing Sides of the Building – Winter 2022 – Summer 2023
  • Stage 2: South and West-Facing Sides of the Building – Summer 2023 – Autumn 2023
  • Stage 3: Internal Staircase – Summer 2023 – Autumn 2023

The following has been done to ensure as little disruption as possible to our tenants and their visitors during this refresh process:

  • Use of specialist contractors with extensive experience in recladding of medical and commercial facilities
  • Coordinated periods of ‘quiet time’ for works completed on the project, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm
  • Exterior and interior signage clearly marking the entrance and exit points for the building
  • Monthly project updates and milestone completion updates
